Camera Training

Throughout our transition to A2 we have started to develop more camera training, this is helping me to re-create the Beyonce video especially as I havent had to shoot a music video before. We are filming the video on a college video camera so that we get the best footage we can possible due to the cameras being a good quality. Our group were then trained on the computers and Macs within college on the editing process of the footage we was going to shoot. This helped our group gain an insight into what was to be expected and shows how you close you can get your footage to the original through editing.

Genre Of Our Video

The genre of our video is still within the pop/chart genre but with it being a ballad it goes against the stereotypical "pop" song that you would expect to see within the charts. However as a group we do believe it is a typical ballad you would find within the charts.

Beyonce 1+1 - 30 Second Storyboard

Beyonce Lyrics

These are the lyrics we have used throughout our remake of the music video.

If I aint got nothing, I got you
If I aint got something I don't give a damn, cause I got it with you
I don't know much about algebra, but I know one plus one equals two
And it's me and you, thats all we'll have when the world is thru
Cause baby we aint got nothing but love.

Beyonce - 1+1
This is the video me and my group will be re-constructing.
Brief

Work in a group of 3 to 4 people to plan and produce a reconstruction of a minute of an existing music video.

Set up your individual A2 coursework blog and choose your coursework brief.

Gather and evidence research into conventions of your chosen brief over the summer starting with codes and conventions of your media form with examples, and also the genre of the text you intend to produce. (i.e Music Video conventions as an example)
